Brooke Olivieri, Founder - Japanese Culture Club of Kingwood, TX USA

 Hi! I’m Brooke, and I’m so excited you’re here. I’ve been fascinated with all things Japan for as long as I can remember—from the language and traditions to the culture, history, and everyday life. What started as a childhood curiosity has grown into a true passion.

 I started the Japanese Culture Club of Kingwood in March 2024 to share my love of Japanese language and culture with other curious students, and I was honored to have the club featured in the Houston Chronicle. 

In the summer of 2025, I was incredibly fortunate to visit Japan, an experience that deepened my love and appreciation for the country. This club is a space for students like me who are curious, eager to learn, and excited to explore the Japanese language and culture together.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue an international education in Japan after graduating high school, and this club is an important part of that journey. My hope is that through learning, sharing, and connecting, we can build a community that celebrates curiosity, cultural understanding, and friendship. I’m so glad you’re part of this adventure with us!
