The Japanese Culture Club of Kingwood is a student-inspired organization dedicated to exploring the Japanese language and culture in a fun, educational, and welcoming environment.
Founded in March 2024 by Brooke Olivieri, then a middle school student with a passion for Japan, the club began as a way to share curiosity, creativity, and cultural appreciation with peers.

Today, the club continues with a high school–focused mission, welcoming high school students who are interested in learning the Japanese language while gaining a deeper understanding of Japan’s traditions, customs, and modern culture.
Members have opportunities to practice basic Japanese, participate in cultural activities, attend events, and connect with other students who share a common interest in Japan.

The Japanese Culture Club of Kingwood encourages curiosity, academic growth, and cultural respect—providing students with a supportive space to learn, connect, and grow together.
